I'm New

Pastor's Welcome

Welcome to Parkway Baptist Church! I am so glad that you have found our home on the web.

Our mission at Parkway is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The goal of everything we do is to glorify God, nurture His people, and show His love to a lost world.

If you are not involved in a church in the Auburn community, I would like to invite you to become a part of this fellowship of believers and find your place of service here with us. I believe that Parkway is not just a place to attend, but a church family to belong.

Thanks for visiting our website and learning more about who we are. I would love to get to know you. You can visit us on Sunday mornings at 8:30 or 11:00! I hope to see you here!

Dr. Jeff Redmond, Senior Pastor

Plan Your Visit This Sunday

8:30 am - Traditional Worship

Drawing from the broad scope of traditional worship music available, our Adult Choir and Worship Team leds the 8:30 Worship Gathering in a passionate way.

9:45 am - Sunday School

We believe Sunday School at Parkway is foundational to leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. During this hour on Sunday mornings we seek to build on-mission Christians through open Bible study groups that engage people in evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship. Our classes are set up by age group from birth to senior adults, single and married, couples and coed.

What To Expect

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable during our worship gathering. We do not have a dress code, we want you to come as you are and experience the life changing grace of Jesus Christ as you worship with us. Most of those in attendance dress in business casual attire. You can dress as you like, however. We would rather you focus on God than on your clothes.

Where do I go?

As you arrive, follow the signs pointing to the worship center. On your way, you will be welcomed warmly by the Parkway community and directed to either our welcome center or our Children’s Ministry Center. At the Welcome Center , you will be greeted by a friendly face who can provide you with information about Parkway Baptist Church, our children’s ministry, and our small group Bible studies. Our Welcome Center volunteers are also trained to answer any other questions that you may have.

What should I do?

After visiting the Welcome Center and dropping off your little ones, you will be directed to the auditorium for the worship service. On the way, feel free to stop by Parkway’s Library and Media Center. The library and media center is full of resources to assist the Christian in their walk with Christ. As you enter the auditorium, you will receive a worship guide that will give you information about the various activities and ministries at Parkway Baptist Church and other important information.

Our Promise:

We will do everything we can to ensure that you feel welcome and comfortable while you are our guest. We will not put you on the spot, ask you to pray or speak publicly, nor embarrass you in any way. Our desire is for you to have a life-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Come and be a part of the Parkway experience!

What do you have for children?

Parkway Baptist Church cares about families and loves children. We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and biblically focused environment in which children of all ages can begin their journey of developing a Christlike character. Our children’s ministry always has at least one person on hand trained in first aid. Safety is of the utmost importance. We are also very careful to monitor security. If you drop your children off with our children’s ministry, you can join our worship service knowing that your children will only be released back into your custody.
