Dick Bagwell

Associate Pastor of Fellowships and Collegiate Ministries

Dick Bagwell has been the Associate Pastor of Fellowships and Collegiate Ministries at Parkway Baptist Church since August 2002.

Ephesians 4:15-16 says, "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ.  From Him the whole body, ,joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."  This is one of the most meaningful verse's in Dick's philosophy as it carries the message of what the church and a college ministry should be.

Dick has deep Louisiana roots as he was born, raised, educated, and married in that state.  He has been married to his wife Jana since 1983 and she is an important part of his ministries.  They have three children: Ross, Mallory, and Mark.  Away from the church, Dick enjoys going to the beach and the lake or grilling with his family.  He also loves Louisiana seafood.  Dick likes watching baseball and playing basketball, tennis, and golf.
